“ Found this Chinese restaurant by accident. Very close to the city center in Athens. 5 minutes from the Athens Central Market. Very good and authentic Chinese food - soup dumplings, fried crullers, soy bean drink, beef noodle soup, etc. Very price friendly. It's run by a hardworking husband and wife team. Would go back there again anytime. ”
“ 168 is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to—and I found it in Greece of all places!!! Tucked down a quiet street, this hidden gem serves up a massive menu at super affordable prices. Every single dish I tried was packed with flavor and heat—just the way I like it! And the staff? Genuinely some of the kindest people I have ever met. I could easily order half the menu and be thrilled with every bite! So, if you love Chinese food like me and you happen to be in Athens, look no further, this is your place!!!! ”
“ Amazing hidden gem. My wife is Chinese, and I’ve lived the past decade in China—we know the real thing when we taste it. The food soothed my homesick wife. She loved the food so much that she ordered delivery the next taste— way too much food than we could eat. ”
“ So good I came back twice in one day. Delicious soft fluffy steam buns with decent amount of filling, tea egg from my childhood (probably needed a smidge longer in the tea but nice nevertheless) and delicious beef noodles. Great value. Helps if you can speak Chinese or have Google Translate ready in Greek, as menu is in those languages. ”
“ I am a Chinese tourist and i approve the taste of this restaurant! And the price is also very reasonable, it is definitely NOT overpriced tourist trap. The whole breakfast we got for 2 person cost ~10 euro ”
“ If you’re craving authentic Chinese food that won’t break the bank, 168 Bar is a hidden gem worth checking out. This place delivers exactly what you want: good food at good prices. The menu features a solid variety of flavorful dishes Tip: Go early — the place gets busy, and going sooner means you’ll have a better selection of dishes to choose from, especially if they rotate specials or run out of popular items. Portions are generous, service is friendly, and the vibe is relaxed — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Chinese cuisine or just exploring something new, 168 Bar is definitely a spot you’ll want to revisit. Highly recommended for tasty, affordable eats in a no-fuss setting! ”
“ The best authentic Chinese breakfast and homemade style food. We loved it tremendously. The owners are from Zhejiang province. They opened the shop to serve the local Chinese community at first. Now more and more local Greeks come and tourists like us too. The foods are in good portion and super delicious. It's also super affordable. If you're in town visiting, highly recommend trying this out. A good change from local Greek food. They open 8am to 4pm daily from Monday to Sunday. ”
